Hey there, friend. Yesterday I kept trying to open port 25565 but it just won’t work no matter what I do. I set up a firewall to allow data traffic, forwarded the port in my router, and added an exception for that specific port, but still nothing happens. Any suggestions or thoughts would be appreciated. Which firewall is being used? What is the router's brand and model? Are there any additional networking devices present? Do you have an internet gateway or modem requiring port forwarding? This appears to be targeting the native Windows firewall. Which Windows version are you using? How are you checking the port status? Which program requires port 25565 accessible? Is it a MySQL or Minecraft server? When scanning that port with GRC’s ShieldsUP, what findings does it provide?
