I know 1080p with mostly “high” settings, I get 70/55 in build fights with a much better computer.

My friend’s specs:

He’s rocking an Intel Core i7-930 Bloomfield – a quad-core processor with a 2.8 GHz clock speed, 8MB of cache, and a QPI of 4.8 GT/sec, all housed in a Socket 1366 form factor at 45nm and backed by a 3-year warranty, found in its original retail boxed packaging.

He’s also running a Zotac GeForce GT 710 with 1GB of DDR3 RAM via a PCI-E X1 slot, featuring both DVI-D and HDMI outputs alongside VGA. He's got 2GB of RAM installed, along with a 250GB hard drive. Oh, and he’s running Ultimate Performance settings with his GPU temps ranging from 29°C to 40°C while gaming!

I’m wondering if PlayStation 5’s specifications are superior to my PC’s specifications?

Your CPU is better than mine, and I don’t have to share my RAM with the integrated graphics. Plus, since it’s not a pre-built system, I imagine it doesn’t have all the manufacturer’s extra software installed.

Upgrading an all-in-one computer is tricky, and my CPU might be limited by the cooling system in a small space.

I’m a PC enthusiast, but I’m toying with the idea of getting a PS4.

The fact that the RAM is incredibly slow is negatively impacting your GPU’s performance as well.
