Hello. I participate in a Minecraft server with my friends, where we use shaders. Initially, everything worked well. At high settings, frame rates ranged from 70 to 117 FPS. However, after some time, the frames began to drop gradually, starting around 100 and eventually falling into the low 50s over about ten minutes. Entering the Nether and returning would reset the progress. I checked Reddit for help, but there was no response. My server isn’t overly powerful, there are no nearby large farms, and I have a significant portion of the continent to myself. That was weeks ago. Now, when I start with shaders, the counter immediately drops from around 60 to 40. Adjusting the shader settings doesn’t improve the performance; it remains consistent whether in low or ultra mode. Anyone know what might be causing this issue?

My initial thought seems to be thermal throttling?
You can install the software and check your CPU and GPU temperatures after playing for a while. Also note your GPU and CPU specifications. The reason the timer might reset is because the Nether is less demanding, allowing the PC a break. If your temperatures are normal, we can explore whether adding 4GB of RAM to Minecraft would help. It could be that the owner made some server changes causing this issue.
