Is this a problem? IF so I don't see a way to keep it cooler.

It's not a major issue, but if parts get warm enough for the SSD to slow down, it might be affecting performance. Some SSDs can manage up to 85°C.

In this scenario, the system can handle up to 70 degrees C while operating. Yet, the current description suggests persistent PC slowness might stem from factors other than a hot boot drive, such as CPU performance throttling or excessive heat on the storage device. It would be useful to track CPU clock speeds during operation to identify any reductions and verify that the drive isn't overheating.

Silicon wear is a real issue, though it's not easy to ignore. Anandtech mentioned this in their review about three years ago regarding the 11900k—higher voltage and power causing faster silicon degradation. With the massive power demands of the 13900 and 14900 CPUs, the problem is worsening rapidly. A quick fix could be updating your BIOS for the motherboard. If no update exists, consider undervolting and underclocking the CPU. This will reduce performance but may improve stability.
