Hello everyone, I’m facing a problem with my A520M-K V2. The PCIe slot supports x4 or x8, but in the BIOS menu there’s no x16 option. I changed the PCIe settings a few times and updated the BIOS, yet it only works with 8x cards like the GT 730 GXT 1050 and EXT. The issue seems to be with the BIOS not recognizing higher speeds. The device connected to that port is a GPU. The Ryzen 3000 series supports 20 lanes, which aligns with their capabilities rather than the CPU.
Did you verify if there’s any damage to the slot? An X16 card usually fits perfectly in an X8 slot, so it’s possible the issue lies with the pins themselves.
