Your PCIe lane lock remains stuck despite your efforts, and it may persist unless you address the underlying issue.

There are various options available. Some move, others slide or pivot. It resembles a hinge, but I can't find clear info online. Assuming it's the correct model, do you have any pictures?

Do you have a video card you're attempting to detach? That specific one uses the push lever—just move it down from either side. The main challenge is getting to the lever near the big heat sinks. This is your motherboard. If your SIG isn't current, check out this link: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/B350-PC-...=1&slide=0

These levers seem poorly constructed. When I push down, pulling my GPU up causes them to lift too, locking the GPU in place and forcing another push. There’s very little flexibility—usually I have to grip it with just one finger while carefully trying to remove it. It’s frustrating because they only needed to make the lever slightly larger and avoid sudden snap-back when I gently pull my GPU up. Lol, without pictures it’s tough to say how badly the OPs design is. Also, the big 18-pin power cable feels stuck, always secured with super glue every time I try to pull it out.

Didn't say much about my Mobo—it's an MSI B350 PC.
