i faced some issues with my rx480 gpu (runtime over 8gb) and was checking if it was the actual rx480 unit. when swapping it back into the x16 pcie slot, it wouldn’t boot properly. i’ve tried clearing the CMOS and using recovery, but nothing worked. now it’s installed in a pcie 3.0 x4 slot and functions fine. i’m unsure if it’s a hardware problem or just limited performance. would switching to another card also cause issues, or is there a chance it could work? thank you ahead for your help.
