The PC won't start when RAM is at 3200MHz, yet functions properly with 3000MHz?
Hello, I'm facing issues with configuring my RAM to 3200 MHz. By default, it was set at 2400 MT/s in the system settings. When I entered the BIOS and changed the RAM profile to 3200, the PC failed to boot. After adjusting it to 3000 MHz, it started working fine. My current specs include an AMD Ryzen 5 5600, ASUS TUF GAMING B450-PLUS II, a Kingston FURY 32GB DDR4 3200MHz kit (installed in slots 2 and 4, A2/B2), and I'm running Windows 11. I haven't tried any fixes yet because I'm unsure if it's worth the effort or if the difference between 3000 and 3200 won't matter for my regular tasks and gaming. Please let me know!

What BIOS version is installed on your motherboard?
By default it was running at 2400 MT/s. After changing the RAM profile to 3200, I tried booting but failed.
Are you using D.O.C.P or adjusting the RAM speed manually to DDR4-3200MHz?
CPU-Z will show your current BIOS version and RAM configuration.
I wouldn't expect any performance changes without a benchmark.
To verify your RAM, try memtest86.
It doesn't require Windows.
It might appear in the tools menu on your BIOS.
If it completes a full test without errors, you're probably fine.
For certainty, repeat the process a few more times.

The description mentions two compatible XMP profiles:
– DDR4-3200 CL16-20-20 @ 1,35 V
– DDR4-3000 CL16-19-19 @ 1,35 V
I will look into more details about the MB/BIOS once I reach the PC.

If you're satisfied with the RAM performance at 3000mhz, it's unnecessary to worry about it.
The difference between 3000mhz and 3200mhz is very small.
Typically, enabling A-XMP/DOCP handles all required configurations.
If you adjusted the DRAM frequency manually (without using A-XMP/DOCP),
the DRAM voltage and latency settings won't be correctly configured.
Check DDR voltage configurations in BIOS and confirm it is adjusted to 1.35V.
