Today I tried some new overclocking techniques for my AMD FX 6300. I achieved a consistent overclock of 4.66gHz with a voltage of 1.525vcore, allowing me to run Prime 95 and Furmark together. However, when I power it up normally, the motherboard tries to revert to default settings by displaying the third option and claiming instability with the hardware. But when I put it to sleep and restart, the HDD light turns off in front of the case, and I have to turn off the power supply, press the power button, and then restart it properly for it to work correctly. I previously had a stable 4.3gHz overclock, but this new one is different and I’m eager to maintain it.

Umm....... sleep doesn't activate the computer, it brings it into a more relaxed state where it consumes less energy and uses less CPU, all that. šŸ˜›

LaborinjoRt :
Umm... sleep doesn't make the computer work harder, it just puts it in a calmer mode where it uses less power and cpu stuff.
šŸ˜›
Anyway, I get that, but why does it keep refusing to start properly?

Well, it's not clear how to activate it since the button on the case isn't responding and it's causing the PC to shut down.
