I eliminated the GPU and relied on onboard graphics, but the issue persists.

Could be your computer is having trouble starting and the short sound is just a boot notification

The alert sounds once the standard startup tones finish and the problem persists even without using the SSD.

Without ssd is normal it doesnt find a device so reboots.
