The issue originated from the power supply unit, as the fan was malfunctioning and overheating. After replacing it, the system operated without issues.

Initial troubleshooting involved opening an Efootball 2024 game, which caused the PC to shut down and restart normally, with no blue screen. The Event Viewer showed a kernel power error 41. Restarting the PC didn’t resolve the problem; upon reopening the game, it continued to fail.

I attempted several fixes: using Sfc Scannow and Dism for Windows health check, disconnecting and reconnecting components, cleaning everything, and even running CPU stress tests. No issues were found. The GPU was functioning normally, but when I ran Furmark, the PC restarted at the beginning of the test.

I also tried another drive with a clean system, but the problem persisted. After returning to my original drive, Fortnite restarted twice and worked again.

What stood out was that most games played without trouble, yet opening Efootball caused a crash without reaching the menu. This led me to suspect a PSU issue, though I’m still unsure. The motherboard and graphics card remain untested. I believe there might be a voltage problem, but I can’t confirm it yet.

I plan to test another motherboard later to rule out hardware failure. Please share your thoughts in the comments.

Hey there,
So, please list your full PC specs, so we can better understand what's going on.
Yes, I think you are correct and it's possible it's te PSU.
Kernal Power 41 error, means the system lost power.

Thank you for the reply.
PC specifications include RX 6500 XT with max usage around 80w.
I3 9100, Asrock H310CM-HDV, 16gb RAM DDR4 2666mhz 2x8gb.
PSU Newcase P4-600w.
I plan to try a different motherboard soon, hoping to understand why it fails randomly in some cases but not at all in others.

Hey there,
I think it's the PSU. It's not a real brand name, which seems pretty odd. I'd replace it right away.

Hello, the problem was resolved by addressing the PSU, though the reason differed from what I assumed—it was overheating and shutting down to safeguard itself. The cooler was still functioning properly after replacing it with a PC case fan; there were no further shutdowns or errors.
