The PC upgrade isn't starting, it's frozen and not booting.
Hi everyone. I recently upgraded my computer. It came with a Ryzen 5 processor, an ASRock motherboard, and a GTX 1060 graphics card. After the upgrade, I switched it to an i7 processor with an MSI MPG Z390 edge board. Everything was installed yesterday and everything worked perfectly—lights lit up, the water cooler ran smoothly, and the temperature stayed around 30°C. Then I connected the PC to my monitor, but started having problems. It asked me to choose a boot disk, even though it detected my hard drive in BIOS. I updated the BIOS to the latest version, wiped the hard drive completely, changed it to GPT format, and had my friend make a backup copy of his drive so I could recover some data. After finishing the setup and putting it back in, nothing functioned properly. I kept seeing black screen errors and only the BIOS interface was visible. Once, I saw my home screen for a few seconds before it vanished. Finally, I downloaded Windows via USB to try again. It started downloading normally but then froze on an “EDGE” screen with a loading circle at the bottom. After turning it off and back on, it just froze again. Guys, I really need help. All my components are compatible. My PC seems damaged, and my friend who helped set it up ended up with a similar issue—we have no idea what happened.
