My PC was built last year and it stops working properly when I put it to sleep. It doesn't just shut down cleanly; instead, it restarts by itself after a minute or two. This started happening randomly at first, but now it happens every single time the computer enters sleep mode. When I looked into Event Viewer, this "Kernel-Power" error code showed up 58 times with no other details. The message says the system rebooted without shutting down cleanly because of something like a crash or power loss. All my drivers and Windows updates are current. Here is what my PC has: Motherboard: MSI PRO B650M-A WiFi CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X with a Scythe Mugen 6 air cooler RAM: TeamGroup Vulcan 32GB (two sticks of 16GB) DDR5-6000 PSU: Thermaltake Toughpower GF A3 650W SSD: Samsung 990 EVO 1TB using PCIe Gen 4 x4 NAND TLC

Event 41 usually means a PSU problem, but mostly it's just telling you an unexpected or bad shutdown happened. First, try running sfc/DISM and make sure your drivers are current. Aside from that, turn off the screen, keep the machine awake, or shut down completely. It helps like band aid for sure.

I have tested three power supply units made by three different brands, so this isn't likely the problem.

It worked well enough, even if it didn't change anything for me. The computer could sleep safely without any trouble.
