It’s an ASCII art game that pushes boundaries in many ways. I’m really enjoying it so far. This is my initial take.

What makes this title stand out for PC players? It offers deep complexity, vast possibilities built on that depth, and a lot of freedom to modify. It takes time to fully grasp its value.

I know “free” can mean different things here—lots of free software exist, but actual hardware support is limited. Exceptions are rare.

Before diving in, please take the time (about two minutes) to read this. The story centers on a fortress through intense and dramatic events.
