The PC stopped abruptly and the EZ Debug indicator has activated.
My motherboard remains stuck with the ez debug CPU light after completing all troubleshooting steps. I replaced the CPU and put the PC back together, but the light stays on with fans and other components active. I repeated the troubleshooting process without success. The PC is about a year old and I also use a Belkin surge protector, which might be relevant.

Your motherboard offers a way to update the BIOS via the Flash BIOS button;
