I own an Asus Z97-A motherboard with a GTX 10708GB Intel i7-4790K, 4.0 quad EVGA 850BQ PSU. Earlier, some bent pins on the socket caused a "CPU over voltage" error when trying to boot Windows. Eventually, I had to replace the board entirely. Now it’s tricky—leaving it unplugged overnight helps, but once I power it back on, it keeps looping into an infinite boot failure. Even after checking for shorts, faulty capacitors, and swapping out a new PSU, the issue persists. I flipped the PSU switch and unplugged it last night, but it still doesn’t work. Have others encountered this problem and found a solution? I’ve already reset the CMOS, but it’s frustrating.

It functions without unplugging but by switching off the power supply unit. This seems like a motherboard issue.

As discussed, I recently purchased a brand new motherboard and it’s functioning exactly as expected right away.

Yes, that's precisely why I believe it's the issue. It wasn't the PSU, and it began after installing the new board, suggesting a different cause. You might want to bring it to a repair shop for further diagnosis using replacement components.
