The PC requires a BIOS password for startup but stops when the password is entered.
I turn on the computer and see the "enter password" message. I type in the correct password, but the machine freezes on a dark screen and stops responding at all (no mouse, no keyboard). I’ve already tried resetting the CMOS and updating the BIOS, but I can’t access the boot options without the password. Since I don’t have funds for a new motherboard, any assistance would be very helpful.
