I believe I made several mistakes more than I anticipated. I followed Linus' instructions for upgrading to Windows 11, but during the transition from legacy to UEFI, my command prompt displayed warnings before I pressed enter. Once I did, the boot process took an unusually long time—nearly five minutes. I tried some basic fixes like resetting the BIOS and reverting back to legacy mode using questionable software. I suspect the issue could be related to my very old HDD, which may not have been compatible with the conversion. I currently have two drives: a modern M.2 SSD and an older 500GB HDD. Could you assist me?
Do you require Windows 11? Based on your configuration, I can start with Windows 10 using the SSD and rely on the HDD for storage. A fresh install might be needed if required. It should run smoothly as a fast machine. Win 11 isn't essential unless you specifically want it.
