For two months I've experienced an issue where the system briefly activates for about five minutes before shutting down, even after turning off the computer. When I power it off using the back power button and then restart, it still starts up, though only the front button on the case remains active to turn it off. It seems likely the Corsair VS650 power supply is the cause, especially since it's already five years old.
you were using your pc for various tasks before encountering an issue that forced it to shut down.
Motherboard MSI Z390-A PRO
CPU I5-9400F
GPU Radeon RX 7900 GRE (previous GTX 1660)
RAM 2x8 16GB 3200 Mhz
PSU Corsair VS650
I understand this PSU isn't strong enough for the GPU since this Radeon resembles the RTX 4070 TI. I purchased it in early March, and issues began at the end of April. Likely the motherboard isn't sending shutdown signals from the power supply. Just note this happens only during daytime gaming sessions; otherwise the system shuts down normally when idle.
