pc refuses to start or restart when the monitor is linked to the GPU. On GPU connection it boots normally, but with the monitor it shows a black screen and loading cursor. Restarting also causes the same issue. When switching from motherboard to GPU, an error appears. It seems the GPU might be having problems, though games run fine otherwise. I’m surprised it works with my laptop and motherboard but not with this setup. Any suggestions?

Have you explored whether the problem lies with the HDMI port on the GPU or if the VGA-to-HDMI adapter is faulty? It could help replacing the adapter rather than just updating drivers. The issue might also stem from driver problems, so reinstalling them could resolve it. Not sure why it behaves differently between laptop and PC.

I installed the new display and used DPI settings, but it didn't function properly with my graphics card.

Possible driver issues might be the cause; consider reinstalling.
