It worked fine before but once I installed the new SSD the monitor just doesn’t show anything, I can't even see the BIOS screens. RGBs, peripherals and fans still turn on but no display output at all. It seems to not boot into Windows either. And after removing the SSD it still doesn’t show anything.
I tried
:
- Removing the new ssd
- Removing both ssds
- Re-seating ram sticks
- Re-seating GPU
- Checked all the cables
- Tried different GPU ports
Anyone knows what’s happening?

What is the BIOS version of your motherboard?
Power supply unit: ASUS TUF 650B
How long has your PSU been installed in this setup?
Please specify the model of the drives you have included.
Attempt to reset the CMOS on your motherboard. The best method is to unplug from the power source and display, remove the CMOS battery, hold the case power button for 30 seconds to discharge any remaining power, then reinstall the battery after a half hour.

You didn't mention the make and models of your storage drives.
If your motherboard's BIOS is corrupt, there's no way to recover it outside of using a CH341 BIOS programming toolkit. You should drop your parts onto a known working motherboard and see if the issue persists. If it doesn't, you could rule out your motherboard being the root issue and RMA it.
Are PSU modular? Are you using the original modular PSU cables?
Modular PSU cables don’t work with all PSU models.
Using incorrect cables can harm or destroy connected hardware.
A second-hand SSD is likely non-functional.
Linking it may have damaged your PSU or the whole system.
Great news! I was able to fix it after resetting the CMOS. It worked only with one stick of RAM. Once I added a second stick, it stopped responding, so I swapped them and it functioned properly again. Both SSDs are installed and Windows is operational. It’s strange how this happened, possibly related to the RAM or its slots, but at least it’s now working. Thanks everyone for your help!
