My PC is one year old with high specs,
Issue: it suddenly shuts down during intense gaming, needs over 5 minutes to restart after power off. There’s no overheating detected, but it handled more heat initially. Also, the shutdown was earlier when OneDrive was installed and consuming memory. When I removed it, the PC ran longer before shutting down. It’s unclear if the problem is with the CPU, power supply, or wiring.
Thanks in advance

I assessed the situation by checking the temperatures during the issue. The CPU and GPU temperatures remained within normal ranges when the problem occurred, especially while engaging in intensive gaming tasks.

We assessed the situation by checking if a finger in the wind could resolve the issue. The next step was to install HWinfo and set up the full PC specifications along with sensors for monitoring the CPU, GPU, storage, and other peripherals.

Hello,
I verified the temperature with a monitoring tool and also ran an OCCT test to simulate stress on my PC—CPU, GPU, and power usage. After four minutes it shut down. The CPU temperature hit a maximum of 80°C, while the GPU reached around 70°C. I’m confident it can handle more load since my system previously overheated significantly during intense gaming sessions with Skylines.

Below are my specifications:
Computer: ASUS
CPU: Intel Core i9-13900K (Raptor Lake-S 8+16, B0) – 3000 MHz (30.00x100.0) @ 5500 MHz (55.00x100.0)
Motherboard: ASUS TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI
BIOS: 1663, 08/08/2024
Chipset: Intel Z790 (Raptor Lake-S PCH)
