I’m just starting out with PC building and had a general idea, but my previous machine kept showing blue screens and wouldn’t boot into Windows. Eventually I bought a new motherboard. I’ve tried everything—re-seating components, updating the GPU, CPU, and RAM, even flashing the latest BIOS. My specs are: RTX 3070 GPU, Ryzen 7 3700X CPU, b450M A motherboard, and 2x 16GB HyperX DDR4 sticks. Nothing seems to work.

Memory placement issues usually occur in slots not close to the CPU, making the A2 and B2 options worth considering.

I returned and managed to start the BIOS, but I still can’t install Windows. I tried Windows 11 and it refused to support it, then I went with Windows 10 which loads partially and then causes a crash.
