I was playing a game on my PC when I accidentally pulled it with my leg, causing it to tilt slightly to the right before it fell back down on its own to the 4 stands. The pull wasn’t strong, nor was the impact severe, but the computer froze. After turning off the power button on the PSU, I turned it back on and restarted, but no image appeared on my monitor. This situation has occurred before; I resolved it by changing the display cables—first unplugging the DP cable and trying again, then plugging in a different HDMI and swapping inputs—but both attempts failed to restore the signal. Eventually, I connected only HDMI and still didn’t get any signal on my keyboard or mouse. The PC would spin up fans intensely, shut down briefly, and then restart automatically, repeating the cycle.

I’ve unplugged the HDMI, plugged in the DP, reset the GPU, reset RAM, removed both power connectors for the motherboard and CPU, held the power button down after disconnecting power, and still faced the same issue. I checked the components for any damage or loose cables, but found nothing unusual. I also examined for cracks or short circuits, though it seemed unlikely since I only slightly tugged the case.

I’m confused about how switching cables or resetting components didn’t fix the problem. Please help and share any tips.

CPU: pentium g4600
Motherboard: gigabyte B250 M-DRAM
GPU: gigabyte GTX 1050
RAM: 4x2GB at 2400MHz
PSU: Corsair CX650M (believed to be from 2016)

Does your setup finish the POST and transition to the OS GUI after removing the discrete GPU? Please test by connecting only essential components—just one RAM stick, the processor with the iGPU, and the motherboard directly to the PSU outside the case. I was using a game on my PC when it slipped off my leg slightly to the right, causing it to tilt before settling back down. The machine froze, so I powered off the PSU, turned it back on, and restarted, but no image appeared on the screen. It seems the motherboard might have been damaged from the accident or a component could have shorted out during the fall. This situation has occurred before. If your PC falls in this way, it’s likely not safe to use.

It seems like this has occurred before after a crash. It wouldn't show anything unless I adjusted the display cables. I built it on a breadboard and cleaned everything thoroughly, but it wouldn’t turn on. I replaced the PSU by clipping it, then placed the motherboard in cardboard and it worked again. Now I think there might be a short in the case. Regarding the boot problem, I focused on ram slot 3—other slots worked fine and it booted properly. There’s no visible damage on the slot or back, so I’m not sure what to do next.

In fact, I was mistaken after further troubleshooting—the main problem is using quad channel. I can start up normally with single, dual, or triple channel memory, but when all slots are filled it causes a loop. I'm not sure what to do next.

Ty Jeffrey but
I managed to get it working now. I enabled memory enhanced stability in the BIOS and turned off fast boot. After booting with three drives, I tried again with four, and eventually it booted correctly once all was connected.
