You're connecting your entire desk setup to a surge protector, which is a bit unusual. It's good you're aware it might be a concern, especially since your brother-in-law hasn't faced similar problems.

If posting isn't working, consider getting help from a professional. It'll be simpler for them to resolve it, particularly if you're dealing with similar problems on the system. It's usually best to let them handle it correctly and then address any remaining issues.

Have you attempted to exchange the I9? There might be issues involved.

Sure, you might want to reach out to Geek Squad for help. They’ve had some mixed reviews, so it’s worth checking their current status before deciding.

I wouldn't go with Geek Squad unless it's your only option. I run a local repair shop in a town that has a Geek Squad and I'm not sure if it's the same at all of them but my local one is dog water, they send most of their jobs off and have a two to three week timeframe for pretty much all jobs besides simple cleanups, they don't actually do the work in-store. I'd look for a local repair shop that has good reviews.

Consider using a different motherboard; it might be an issue with the original one.

You might want to verify if the CPU, GPU, and motherboard are receiving the required power. Consider using a voltage checker or temporarily adjusting the PSU if feasible.

I'm heading over to a nearby repair shop, and the reviews look decent so far. Let's hope everything goes well.
