My computer is a Ryzen 3 3200G RX5500 EOM built for prebuilt units, with 16GB DDR4 RAM at 3200MHz and a 240GB SSD. It struggles significantly with Fortnite, even after installing drivers—temperatures seem normal but performance remains poor. Downloading drivers hasn’t fixed the issue, and adjusting settings hasn’t improved things. I play at low settings, but even then, frame rates drop sharply and FPS fluctuates wildly.

It seems your processor is struggling to maintain performance. Are there any background processes active? Is this a new Windows setup?

My previous Ryzen 2200g caused performance problems with any decent GPU. Pairing it with a 3060 12GB led to similar issues in most games, especially with FPS being affected. I’d recommend upgrading your CPU now—there are several AMD Ryzen X models available on Amazon if you have the budget.

No other options exist since building a CPU yourself would likely provide better performance, but you're not interested in that.

It's really new. Just a month ago I believe.

Make sure to push it to its limits as much as possible.
