The IMC of the 3600 is fully capable of handling 3200. It's not even an issue to it—I mentioned this and I’ll reiterate just in case you missed it. Please follow the drivers, avoid manual adjustments, check temperatures, and enable XMP/DOCP. If it doesn’t boot at that frequency, change the SOC to 1.1 and DRAM to 1.35, then run 3000 with XMP/DOCP.
I understand this situation clearly. It's possible his RAM, despite being rated for 3200, struggles at that frequency. I've experienced this before and had to return the part. The main concern is whether it can actually operate at that speed.
I pressed F1 then F5 to reset defaults and restart it again without a document. Everything works smoothly now, thanks! I think the graphics card might have been set too soon, but it worked out anyway.
To initiate the return, I needed to reach out to Corsair and their support team, who helped me adjust certain settings before confirming it was an RMA. They advised against simply saying it didn’t work and suggested returning it instead. Just a note from my past experience—trying to stay polite isn’t always enough.
