Hello everyone!
My friend recently handed me his old gaming desktop, but he wasn’t sure if it was still functional. I tried it today and launched Marvel Rivals without any issues. When I clicked Start Streaming through OBS, the game would load in about two seconds, then the computer would crash and the graphics card would start complaining. I’m not sure, but it seems the temperatures were normal, reaching a peak of 72°C on one of the cores.
I checked the event viewer after the crash and found this entry:
Event ID 41: "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed or lost power unexpectedly."
If you need any more details, just let me know. Thanks!

You're sure you didn't mean to mention an i7-9700K?

Additional details are required, particularly the make and model of your power supply.

Also verify your reliability monitor by typing its name after pressing the windows key. Search for hardware issues, which can guide you in the right direction. The windows event viewer should provide further details. The same approach applies when opening it.

It also looks like this could be related to Marvel Rivals. I tried running two other games at once and everything worked fine.
Maybe the computer is overheating because of Marvel Rivals?
Edit: So it seems like only Marvel Rivals is causing the problem. I can play for half a game, then the game crashes or the computer shuts down.

Yes, that's a poor choice. I would aim for higher quality instead.

The GPU VRAM crash is likely caused by an unstable current flow, as discussed
