The PC freezes inside the BIOS setup.
I frequently travel and recently arrived at my home to unpack my PC. While packing, I removed the GPU because I’m just a tweaker, but I always reinstalled it normally without issues. After booting up, I received a green light confirming it started, which immediately launched me to the BIOS. The motherboard I’m using is an MSI MAG Z690 Tomahawk WiFi Gaming board (ATX, 12th Gen Intel Core, LGA 1700, DDR5, PCIe 5, 2.5G LAN, M.2 slots, Wi-Fi 6E). I’ve experimented with various fixes—re-seating the SSD, using a critical M.2, restoring to defaults in BIOS—but none worked. The boot override didn’t recognize it and showed a grey option in settings/boot, preventing any changes. When I accessed boot options later, the SSD appeared correctly. Everything seems to function properly now. I’m quite confused and would appreciate any guidance to resolve this. Thank you for your help.
