I recently upgraded my PC with a GTX 1070 Strix, 8GB RAM, a 650W PSU, and a 500GB SSD. I expected a smooth experience but was let down by the performance. Games like PUBG ran at 45-60 FPS, Assassin's Creed at 32 FPS, and Arma 3 sometimes hit 26-40 FPS. These numbers aren’t great, and sometimes I didn’t notice any difference in frame rate when adjusting settings. It seems my CPU might be struggling to keep up. The investment felt wasted given the lack of speed. Here are some benchmark results for Assassin's Creed—let me know if you need more details! Thanks for your help!

No, those numbers don't match what I was experiencing during the tests.

Lelz, my 770 runs smoothly at 32fps in 720p for Origins (lowest options). That’s all the important stuff—I’m moving on now.

I can look into it later. My CPU is at full capacity while the GPU is running at 70%. I haven’t checked the temperatures yet—I’ll follow up soon!

You're attempting to launch DDU in safe mode, reinstall GPU drivers, or check usage details.

They require a lot of CPU power, which makes sense given your 8GB RAM. Run an Unigine benchmark and share the outcomes.

Check the recommended settings for your system's resolution, GPU performance, and CPU utilization. Use DDU to install the appropriate drivers.

It doesn't matter whether I go to Low, since the frames per second remain unchanged lol

CPU usage is high, but your GPU is clearly handling the rendering load. Adjust the resolution to 200% and push all available settings.

I use Ultra or very high settings. The FPS changes aren't noticeable when I lower it to low. I've tried it a few times. I'm not sure what DDU means. (Sorry, I'm new to this.) I reinstalled the drivers last Friday, but it didn't help. I did that using GeForce Experience instead.
