Hello everyone, I recently installed my new GPU and noticed several issues with the RAM slots on my motherboard. It’s worth mentioning that everything functioned perfectly before the upgrade. I currently have two 8GB RAM sticks, originally placed in the A2 and B2 channels, but now the system only boots when only one stick is in the A1 channel. I’ve tested every possible configuration, but this is the only setup that allows booting. Whenever I attempt to start the system without a stick in the A1 slot, a yellow/orange warning light appears on the motherboard, signaling a DRAM issue. Both RAM sticks fit in the A1 slot, so it seems the problem isn’t with the RAM itself. My steps so far include: cleaning both RAM modules and slots, resetting CMOS, updating the BIOS for my motherboard, but none resolved the issue. My system specs are: ROG Strix B450 gaming, Ryzen 5 5600, RX 6650 XT, new GPU, XFX RX 480, old GPU, and 2x Corsair Vengeance Pro DDR4 3200MHz. I’m uncertain what to do next since my expertise in this area is limited.
