Attempted to increase clock speed of my i5 3570 k on the asrock 277 extreme 4m but it doesn't boot properly. PST BIOS splash screen appears even after resetting the CMOS. No improvement seen.

if it's merely navigating past the bios is the issue, yet access remains possible, proceed to the bios and restore all settings to their original state.

I finally managed to get into the bio after resetting my HDD, SSD, CMOS battery, and performing other CMOS resets. Now I can connect my GPU, and it's all working properly.
