Only the BIOS is needed. What about the other suggestions?

All pins are securely in place, just triple-checked. I believe there might be some unused mounting screws, but I’m not sure why that would matter since I’ve been using this PC for about a year. I haven’t tried booting it without the GPU, though I don’t think it’s connected to the problem.

Le montages inutilisés peuvent causer des problèmes de court-circuit ou de mise à la terre.

I tested it without the GPU and found no change, but the dram and cpu lights remain on without a display.

Wouldn't that disrupt the mb while leaving the rest intact? Also, wouldn't it have caused a short earlier? Also, it's not as if any component is fully damaged—ram lights are on, the cpu is warming up, and the mb still shows error codes and managed to flash. The only part I can't really verify is the cpu.

When a brief occurs, it seems unlikely any solution will succeed. Time or vibration might be involved. Have you changed the video cables while trying to fix it?

Take the motherboard out from the case and make sure it's properly positioned. It's worth checking.
