The PC fails to start after adding RAM.
Hello, I had a plan to reuse parts from my previous computer to create a newer one. After selling my old i5 3570, I purchased a refurbished i5 2500k. When setting up the memory, I double-checked the RAM was installed properly since I have two distinct sets from Kingston that have functioned perfectly over the last 5 to 6 years. However, during startup I only see a black screen and nothing is detected—no mouse or keyboard. Once I removed the sticks, only two were left installed and it started working. Anyone know what might be happening? P.S. The graphics card seems outdated and has been acting strange lately, but I’m not sure if that impacts the RAM. Thanks in advance!
