Hello, it's been three weeks since I purchased my PC. The RAM won't boot and the LED shows an orange color, though the RAM is receiving power (it has RGB lighting). Could anyone advise me on what to do? Setup: Asus B550-F Gaming (WiFi) + Kingston HyperX Fury 2x8 GBAMD 3600X (with stock cooler), Asus GeForce RTX 2060 ROG Strix Evo, Corsair TX650M 650W Corsair ICUE 220T RGB Airflow.

Try a CMOS reset first; it often restores the device.

You want to know if the system is posting but not booting. I’d consider reseating RAM and testing with one stick at a time. If that fails, try the other stick. If neither works, check for Windows issues or MBR errors. You can create a Windows USB from here: Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com). Also, you might start in Recovery Mode by holding the reset/start button until the machine reboots three times, then run repair options.

The device requires some memory to operate properly. The following action might be necessary—swap in new RAM—but it’s improbable both units are defective. Currently, the situation suggests a faulty CPU or mainboard, possibly disrupting the RAM connection. Since you recently purchased the unit, it’s advisable to reach out to your supplier for clarification. If you wish to attempt repairs yourself, you’ll need replacement components such as RAM, CPU, memory modules, and possibly other system parts to pinpoint the problem. Your vendor should have these items available.

I reached out to them and now I understand the process for sending them for repair. I’m just planning to borrow some RAM sticks from a friend to confirm there’s no issue with the RAM.
