Hi everyone, I’m trying to figure out a problem with my PC after upgrading to Windows 11. It keeps crashing when left idle, even though everything looks powered on. I’ve tried a few solutions—turning off power management settings, running commands in CMD, and adjusting BIOS—but nothing seems to fix it. I’m really stuck and would appreciate any advice or help. Thanks!

The only time I saw something similar was when Windows stopped a USB controller to save power and didn’t come back when I moved the mouse. You can adjust this via Device Manager. There might also be a problem with deep hibernation or fast startup; I usually disable it, as energy settings help.

As MLConian mentioned, this likely relates to adjusting power configurations for a gadget. Besides the USB controller, check the Power Management options on your keyboard and mouse, ensuring the feature "Let this device wake the computer" is turned on for both.

I adjusted a few advanced options and reinstalled some drivers. It seems the system came back online, which is good. Could the issue have started after switching to Windows 11?
