Hello, your B85M E isn’t starting when RAM is placed in any of the first two slots. I’ve confirmed the CPU is fine, but I’m unsure how to proceed. Please let me know.

the cpu functions properly on a different motherboard using identical RAM, which suggests the motherboard might be the issue. Another observation is that it spins up and then immediately reverses direction while continuing to cycle.
