my pc was running quietly when i didn't touch anything, then it suddenly shut down. it starts but the screen shows no signal and the keyboard doesn't respond. some usb devices also stop working. i've confirmed all cables are properly connected. the motherboard's debug light is lit for vga and it's white. i swapped parts on another board and the same issue occurred, but with a different board the debug stays on cpu. i updated bios and cleaned up cmos. the gpu fans spun briefly before stopping. the gpu isn't faulty since i tested it on a friend's machine. the cpu is an AMD Ryzen 7 3800x, gpu is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070, motherboard is Asus ROG strix B450-F gaming ii, second board uses Msi MPG gaming carbon wifi, and psi is Corsair RM 750X.

Observing such issues on Ryzen2 systems only within a short period suggests possible hardware problems rather than routine software updates. It’s possible a recent update caused instability, though not every software change affects performance equally.
