Hey everyone! I recently assembled a new PC with an RTX 4090, an I7 13700KF, Corsair Vengeance DDR5 5600MHz, ASUS Prime z790-A, Wi-Fi, Samsung Pro 980 M.2 NVMe, and the latest BIOS. Everything is now functioning properly after updating to the newest BIOS version. However, when I turn on XMP and Intel Rapid Storage Technology, the system crashes with a BSOD and fails to boot into Windows. I’m considering giving up, but I really want to take advantage of those performance boosts. Anyone have any tips or advice?

Intel RST is only needed when you require RAID. It may cause issues if you disable it.

This feature was designed for RAID setups and Optane storage, which you don’t currently use. It’s safe to say the system starts up without XMP or RST enabled.
