The PC fails to enter sleep mode and instead powers off.
I frequently attempt to place my PC into sleep mode, but it always shuts down abruptly instead. The process takes a few minutes, and I’m uncertain whether the problem lies with hardware or software. I’ve tried tweaking power settings and even accessed BIOS to check for issues, though I’m not sure what to look for. Anyone have any insight into this matter?
What are the full system specifications, including the PSU make and model details? Is the PSU old, and was it purchased new or used/refurbished? If it's a desktop, might the PSU lack support for advanced CPU sleep modes (C6, C7, C8) and instead causes the PC to shut down.
