Your PC began producing beep sounds upon powering on or loading applications. It also shows reduced frame rates in games after upgrading to a 4060 Ti and adding more RAM, though the beeping persists. Could someone assist with troubleshooting this problem? I've attached the audio file and system details for reference. New Recording: 13.m4a

Uncertain about the frame rate—maybe more details are needed. What power supply capacity do you have? Regarding audio, is it available on every output device or just a few? Have you installed the latest drivers for each device? I don’t recognize the beep as a diagnostic signal; does it occur consistently or only during gaming?

I possess a 650 w power supply. The audio from the motherboard occasionally plays during gameplay.

If it comes directly from the motherboard, it likely indicates a debug or warning code. The only clue I found was a short beep repeated once. It’s unlikely your system is drawing 650W, but the power supply might be weaker due to age, causing one rail to underperform while others work fine. Try using a different power supply to see if the problem persists. Keep in mind Dell may use special connectors for their power supplies—regular PSUs won’t work. Good luck!

I'll look for a different PSU and hope it resolves the FPS issue too.

You may inquire before purchasing, though most shops let you try the PSU and return it within 30 days for a complete refund.
