The PC emits a beep after updating components.
I installed a new SSD and RAM stick, but when I powered on the computer it didn't recognize them. The PC started up, yet the RAM and SSD weren't detected. I adjusted the RAM slot, used a different cable for the SSD, and reset the CMOS battery, but the beeping continued—first a long beep then two short ones. - - ASUS motherboard. Any advice?
When sharing a troubleshooting thread, it's important to provide detailed system specifications. List them clearly as follows:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:

PSU:

Monitor:
Include the age of the PSU along with its make and model. Also, note the BIOS version for your motherboard at this time.
After an upgrade, mention any changes or additions to your specifications.
I'm concerned about the changes I made to my system. I previously had a DDR4 8GB RAM with a clock speed of 2600MHz, and then added another DDR4 8GB RAM with a higher speed of 3600MHz. My motherboard supports two RAM slots. I also installed a 480GB SSD and a 980GB SSD, without altering anything else.
