My game, Rainbow Six Siege, keeps crashing even after trying every fix. I went into Ryzen Master and clicked Game Mode (even though it's meant for ThreadRipper). Nothing happened. Then I hit apply again and it asked if I really wanted to do it. I said no because I didn't know what that was doing. Next time, I checked profiles 1 and 2 while looking at current settings just to see the differences without making any changes. When I shut down Ryzen Master and restarted my computer, it never turned on at all anymore.
Every time I press the power button now, the fans spin for a second then stop. (Note: The fans only spin when the power supply is on.) I tried shorting the CMOS with a screwdriver and nothing worked. Then I took the battery out and tried shorting it again. Even after I kept trying that longer. Nothing fixed anything.
I'm waiting to see if letting it sit for two hours or ten percent will help my game stop crashing. But I have a feeling maybe nothing else is going to work either, so what should I do? Before they tell me it's a hardware problem, could something else be causing this? Maybe the CPU isn't working right, or the RAM might be broken?
I think if the fans are spinning when power comes on, then the motherboard must be okay. But I don't know for sure about that part yet. Here is my info:
CPU: Ryzen 3 2200G
RAM: Ripjaws V 8GB 3200 (2x4 GB)
Motherboard: AsRock B450M Pro4
