I built PC Building Simulator on my laptop and it fails when trying to install a motherboard into a case and switch parts categories. It crashes only for CPU and GPU categories, especially watercooled GPUs, but works fine with CPU blocks. I'm checking the best graphics settings to see if that resolves the issue.

Hey there! Seems like you're curious about some tech details. Did you encounter any issues with another game recently? What kind of laptop are you using, and what specifications does it have? Have you checked if your drivers are current? Also, did you try running everything on the lowest settings for testing?

No concerns with other games either. No stability problems at all. No adjustments made to the GPU or CPU. My setup includes an i7-10750H, 16GB RAM, and a GTX 1660Ti in my Asus Strix G17. It also experiences crashes even at the lowest settings.

Check installed files and confirm drivers are current. Adjust settings to lower levels—honestly, it’s not the most intense on full power. If that doesn’t work, remove and reinstall the game. If still problematic, reach out to the developers since the problem might lie with the game itself.

I downloaded it through the Microsoft Store (I wasn’t aware of Steam at first). I believe the issue might be with the game itself, but thank you for your help.

I'm facing a similar problem too—it's not just PCBS, it affects almost every game I own, except for TF2 and Gmod. My PC can run them but often freezes or crashes during play. I've done everything: turned off virus protection, reinstalled games, updated drivers, checked files, upgraded RAM with a 6GB stick and a fan, and even added an AIO cooler. Still, performance drops significantly. I just need to play one of these games. What should I do?
