Greetings, I’ve experienced this problem for several months.

Could you please identify the root cause?

I consistently encounter freezes during large game downloads – it occurs at various stages, frequently around 5%, 50%, or even 80% completion. After freezing, the only solution is to power off the device using the power button, and the issue repeats itself.

I’m uncertain if this information is pertinent, but I observed that disk usage spikes to 100% during these freezes according to the task manager.

System specifications:
Processor: i5-7200u
Memory: 8GB
Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce 950m

the hard drive is sluggish; it’s simply pausing while attempting to record information onto it.

This storage drive is almost completely full, and the manufacturer’s software appears to be discontinuing support.

Have you run it through the original creator’s software? Did you remove previous cached data and outdated temporary files? A disk defragmentation could also be beneficial.
