I’m dealing with a difficult problem where my PC freezes completely during certain games, and it only responds by pressing the power button on the case. Here’s what I’ve noticed:
Symptoms: The system freezes entirely; all input devices stop functioning except the power button. Restarting requires holding the power button.
Examples:
PUBG: Freezes in the menu when I stay there longer than 30 seconds, but it doesn’t crash while playing.
Hell Let Loose: Same issue as PUBG (menu freezes, no crashes during gameplay).
EAFC 25: Runs smoothly with no interruptions.
A Plague Tale: Crashes right at the first intro cutscene.
What I’ve tried so far:
Swapped out the RAM and power supply, but the problem continues.
Updated GPU drivers to the newest version.
Cleaned up the PC and reinstalled Windows.
Removed and reinstalled the affected games.
Anyone else have any ideas about what could be causing this or how to fix it further?
Appreciate your assistance!

Do you recall when the issue began? It might have occurred following an update, software release, or changes to components or drivers?

No changes were made to any components except the graphics card. I attempted to revert to a previous version, but it didn't assist.
