Check if your motherboard supports RGB fans. If not, you’ll need additional components like a compatible power supply, fan controller, and possibly a case with proper ventilation. To make the lights activate, ensure the motherboard has the necessary BIOS settings enabled for RGB activation.

It relies on whether the case includes an RGB controller. Otherwise, you can purchase a compatible controller with an internal USB 2.0 port. The motherboard was released before ARGB support, which means it lacks an ARGB header.

mb argb control began around Z170, but it seems to fall into the Z270 range instead. The argb/rgb info wasn't there, possibly because I received a Z270 sabertooth that claimed it had argb but didn't. It looks like I was scammed.
