The main appeal of the Mass Effect and Knights of the Old Republic series comes from the chance to play as a larger-than-life character to everyone. In Mass Effect, the Renegade resembles a Devil May Care soldier, while in KOTOR you act more like a quiet schemer akin to a Sith. I’m still hoping for a remake or update of KOTOR.
I played the regular version I believe. At the end I faced only two choices: destroy the reapers or control them. What makes the extended edition unique? Also, during my encounter with the elusive man, I couldn't choose between being a paragon or a renegade in the dialogue; they welcomed me and required me to use a renegade mouse click. Cheers
Do you think the Citadel expansion adds enough value? It’s a bit pricey at 13 euros for a single DLC in Mass Effect 3, especially since the full trilogy was affordable.
Citadel DLC stands out as the highlight of the trilogy, definitely worth playing. The extended version offers more content without everyone losing, and there are a few fresh scenes that improved the experience. I’m currently on the phone and will share the links once I’m back.
Citadel works fine, but there’s a lot of extra content to tackle afterward. The central plot feels a bit average. If you choose this DLC over others, you’ll likely need to answer several story questions about Leviathan. Also, I think playing as a renegade Shepard would be possible, though it’s unlikely he’d survive into the next part.
