The cooler's direction has been switched, but the dust pattern you noticed earlier should still be visible. This might have some impact ahead of time.

The way the air flows through the fins depends only on its direction, not which side the fan is on.

The air is moving toward the back of the case, not the front. Should I flip the cooler back or does it not affect anything?

The air is moving toward the back of the case, not the front. I’m wondering if turning the cooler back is necessary or if it doesn’t really matter.

I'm not sure what part wasn't already covered above. Your cooler itself is fine but we can't see the orientation of the fan on it, which is all that matters.

Moving air in either direction doesn't change the outcome.

Thank you for the orientation. It seems the fan is directing air through the cooler and then out the back of the case. Appreciate your response and apologize for any confusion I caused.

The cooler will work the same both ways (disregarding the fan as in your op) so no need to worry

It seems like the issue is purely cosmetic. I've already attempted various methods to remove the dust, but it still hasn't moved.
