With Zen3 it's best to stay under 3600MTs for optimal XMP performance. Going over that is unlikely to work without adjustments. Tuning is necessary for both 3600MT and 4000MT configurations to achieve peak speed, so a functional XMP profile is recommended for ease. Both options are solid selections. You should be able to adjust your timings manually on the 4000MTs setup.
